History

1999   Company founded by Derick Broekhuizen - Broekhuizen Motors & Engineering. (100m² workshop)

2000   Relocated to larger premises of 180m² and incorporated 2 x Mechanical C- Frame presses of 60T.
2001   Installed a 100T Mechanical C-Frame press. Changed name to Broekhuizen Metal Pressings cc.
2002   Relocated to a larger factory and purchased premises of 750m².  Installed additional 3 x Mechanical C-Frame presses up to a 100T.
2003   Designed and copy righted gutter products for the gutter industry.
2004   Extended factory facility to 1460m². Installation of new computer systems. 
2005   Acquired all filter press work from Donaldson Filtration Systems (Pty) Ltd. Installation of 7 x Four Pillar Deep Drawing Hydraulic presses up to 120T and 2 x 100T C-Frame presses. Broekhuizen Gutter Supplies was founded. 
2006   Installation of 150T H-Frame Deep Drawing press. Broekhuizen Gutter Supplies cc was registered. 
2007   Awarded ISO 9001 - 2008 Quality Management System Certificate. Became a (Pty) Ltd. Broekhuizen Gutter Supplies cc was sold to Hulamin Limited. 
2008   Purchased extended factory facility, increasing size to 2500m². Further installation of  8 x Mechanical C-Frame presses up to 125T and incorporated roll feed manufacturing facilities. 
2009   Introduced new CNC Milling/Turning division.
2010   Broekhuizen Lasercut (Pty) Ltd founded by Derick Broekhuizen.
2011   New 300 Ton Hydraulic Deep Draw Press was installed for Broekhuizen Metal Pressings (Pty) Ltd.
Following the introduction of our CNC Milling / Turning division in 2009, Broekhuizen Precision Engineering cc was launched and our second CNC centre was purchased.
2012   More equipment was installed including a new 160 Ton Hydraulic Deep Draw Press and a new Trumpf Trubend 3120 Bending Machine with full 3D development software.
